On Sunday, Jan 14, at the Polish Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Paris, a Mass was celebrated by Msgr. Pawel Ptasznik, Director of the Administrative Council of the John Paul II Foundation.
The parish priest, Fr. Lukasz Skawinski and Fr. Stanislaw Jez (ex-director of PMK in France) concelebrated the Mass. Mrs. Malgorzata Dudek and Mrs. Krystyna Tomkiewicz read the mass lectures in Polish and in French.
After the Mass, a bouquet of flowers was placed under the bust of Saint John Paul II, at the main entrance to the church.
